Artist Residency
SUMMER 2024
We’re thrilled to announce our first-ever artist residency expedition, on the occasion of the 2nd edition of the Art Festival @Feys. We invite artists from across the world to experience a retreat, enjoying the energy of the international volunteers, the tranquility on and around the river, the many animals but also a unique riverside location.
The Brewery offers a distinctive opportunity for creators from various fields to research and develop their creative practice in this historic place, learning different ways of living and fostering cultural exchange with people from around the world.

Housing Options
Located in the Ijzervallei West corner, we offer several housing options at the Brewer’s Castle, in and around the Brewery to accommodate the varied aspirations and budgets of our resident artists.
Our favorite The Superloft is ideal for a duo of artists, featuring a spacious, well-lit area that can be adapted into an atelier according to your art style. It includes a separate bedroom with a king-size bed, and a large terrace offering serene views of the surrounding nature.
There is also a possibility to stay in the Brewers Castle, in the historic room where Marshal Foch resided during WW1.
Various other private or shared options can be discussed, based on the artist’s preferences and of course depending on the availability and timing. Each sleeping area comes equipped with beds and linens.
These different accommodation spaces are offered to resident artists at a minimum residency fee of 200 euros per week which includes breakfast, lunch (Mondays-Fridays) & an access to the communal kitchen for the rest of the meals.
True nature lovers could also find themselves a corner in the meadow, if you enjoy camping & can bring your tent or a camper van. The housing costs include meals, utilities such as access to internet, use of bicycles, kayaks & canoes.
